Multicert in the Olympus project

Multicert participates in the European project Olympus
The future of digital identity in the hands of the citizens
Multicert actively participated in the European project OLYMPUS, which allows citizens greater control over the information they share, strengthening the privacy of personal information, such as obtaining anonymous and verifiable proof of identity.
Having participated in the ISO 18013-5 specifications, Multicert experienced the application of the OLYMPUS technology, developed in cooperation with other partners of the European consortium. The use case requires age verification, namely the demonstration of arbitrary proof of age. For example, when there is a need to confirm the age of the citizen without sharing their actual age.
Multicert continues to work with groups on standardization and policymaking to strengthen the privacy of personal information, especially in the ongoing initiatives mDL – Electronic Driving License and the European Digital Identity Card.
